 Deershed Festival 2026

Friday 24th July 2026 to and including Monday 27th July 2026

Due to severe delays and disruption caused by the festival last year (2025)

Service 70 will operate direct between Topcliffe and Dishforth

Unfortunately there will be no service to Rainton during the festival

 

Eppleby & Forcett

Road Closed 25 May 2026 till 30th May 2026

Service 29 will be unable to serve Eppleby and Forcett during this closure

 

     

Bishop Auckland Bus Station

ALL  services are now departing from Stand A in Bishop Auckland Bus Station 

Stand D opposite Halifax has now been decomissioned and not in use

Services will stop at Specsavers and Boyes - Please "Hail" the bus to stop 

 

    

Richmond Fair

05:00 Wednesday 20th May 2026 to 16:00 Thursday 28th May 2026

Richmond market place will be CLOSED and ALL Bus Stops at the Town Hall will be suspended during this period

ALL services will Commence From and Terminate at

The Bus Stop Friary Gardens, opposite The Ralph Fitz Randal (Wetherspoons)

 

Busby Lane CLOSED

6th July 2026 - 17th July 2026

NO SERVICE 89 TO Great Busby - Kirkby - Great Broughton

Service will divert NON STOP between Stokesley and Carlton In Cleveland

 

Topcliffe Road Closure

19th June 2026

Due to a road closure in Topcliffe affecting 

Church Street, Long Street, Front Street

Unfortunately to divert around this closure will mean severe disruption to our service 70

Service 70 will operate a direct NON STOP service between Thirsk Market Place and Dishforth via A168 during this closure

Service will OMIT Thirsk Rail Station, Carlton Minniott, Busby Stoop, Allenbrooke Barracks, Topcliffe, Asenby, & Rainton

 

 

​15:30 service from Northallerton will depart as soon as the driver has had their legal 30 minute break

Dishforth Road CLOSED 1st July 2026

Service diverting via A1 between Ripon and Dishforth

 

Dishforth Christ Church Bus Stop

Due to the works being carried out on the exit and the positioning of the boulders, to the bus turning area

behind the church & village hall we are unable to exit this area safely,

This will unfortunately mean we cannot access the Christ Church Bus Shelter and will have to turn at the Topcliffe road junction.

Passengers please hail the bus from a safe position opposite the Topcliffe Road junction

 

Asenby 

ROAD CLOSED - A167 NEAR ASENBY FORGE TO CROSS ROADS JUNCTION WITH WHAITES LANE

1st April to 31st October 2026

NO Service into Asenby during road closure periods.

Passengers will need to board and alight at A167/SIke Lane junction when road is closed

Please hail the bus to stop

 

22nd April 2026 until approximately 2nd June 2026

Dalton Lane Dalton Thirsk CLOSED

Services will divert via Back Lane and Water Lane in Dalton

 

21st May 2026 to 25th June 2026

Bowes Turning Circle CLOSED

Service will terminate and start at the Mini Roundabout on The Street near to Bowes Village Hall
